Dental Kidds in Hudson, WI, is looking for a passionate part-time or full-time dental assistant to join our fun, kid-focused team! Whether you’re licensed or have hands-on experience as an unlicensed assistant, we’d love to connect with you.

Shift Hours Monday through Thursday:

7:00-2:00

11:00-5:30

7:00-5:30

Fridays 7:00 - 2:00

Saturdays 7:30-1:30

$21 - $33 hourly

• Perform Pedo Prophies
• Chairside assist doctors
• Float assisting
• Assemble instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to the treatment area, positioning instruments for the dentist’s access, suctioning, and passing instruments
• Educate patients by giving oral hygiene instructions
• Contribute to the team effort by helping where needed
• Welcome the patient and explain dental care treatment plans so they feel comfortable during their appointment
• Ensure all dental office infection control policies and safety regulations are met by disinfecting and sterilizing all equipment and instruments after use
• Help dentists and dental hygienists during procedures or examinations by providing suction, handing off dental instruments, and ensuring chair-side accessibility to the team
• Answer any questions the patient may have about dental hygiene, schedule appointments for patient care follow-up, and provide postoperative instructions with methods for infection control of the patient's teeth and gums, after procedures
• Evaluate and document vital signs for patients and update medical records

• Must have a minimum of one year or more of dental assisting experience
• Concrete and measurable dental assisting skills
• Candidates with no dental experience need not apply
• Experience with children
• Strong interpersonal skills, customer service, organization, and excellent communication skills are essential
