This role is situated within a fully remote telehealth setting, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your home. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to understand each client’s mental health history and current concerns, followed by the development of tailored treatment plans.

• Provide individual therapy sessions using recognized modalities, adapting techniques such as CBT, DBT, or mindfulness-based therapies to best support client growth.

• Establish clear therapeutic goals in partnership with clients, regularly reviewing their progress to ensure the effectiveness of interventions and making necessary adjustments along the way.

• Offer flexible teletherapy options to meet the needs of clients who prefer virtual sessions or may have mobility challenges, ensuring equitable access to support.

• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of session notes, treatment plans, and progress reports in compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.

• Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical competencies and stay informed of the latest advancements in mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients facing various mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Your role will be vital in creating a safe and empathetic space where individuals can express themselves freely and embark on their journey toward healing. Particularly, you will focus on clients seeking individualized care tailored to their unique circumstances and goals.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license in Maryland, either as a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT) , Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) , Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) , Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical (LCSW-C) , or Ph.D./Psy.D. in Psychology.

• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster meaningful connections with clients.
\n
• Exhibit a compassionate demeanor, demonstrating empathy and a non-judgmental approach to client experiences.
\n
• Skills in organization and time management to effectively handle administrative tasks alongside a busy caseload.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in a private practice or telehealth setting is preferred but not required.

• Experience in treating children, adolescents, or specific populations (e.g., LGBTQ+ community, trauma survivors) will be considered an asset.
